IPL may be used to address suitable superficial pigmentation, sun damage, facial redness and visible vessels, while the surrounding facial treatment supports your skin and overall treatment experience.

How Lynton Excelight IPL Works
Lynton Excelight uses selected wavelengths of light to target specific structures within the skin.
The treatment settings are adjusted according to your skin type, the concern being treated and the area we are working on.
IPL for Pigmentation
For suitable superficial pigmentation, light energy is absorbed by melanin within the targeted area.
The treated pigment may temporarily darken following IPL before gradually clearing as the skin renews.
IPL for Redness & Visible Vessels
For suitable vascular concerns, selected wavelengths target haemoglobin within superficial blood vessels.
The treatment approach is adjusted according to the type, location and extent of the redness or visible vessels.

Lynton Excelight IPL
Protective eyewear is worn while selected areas are treated with IPL.
Each pulse may feel briefly warm or similar to a light snapping sensation against the skin.
LED Light Therapy
LED may be incorporated following IPL where appropriate to support the skin after treatment.
Skin Preparation
Your skin is cleansed and prepared for treatment. Any supportive facial steps are selected according to your skin on the day.
Supporting Skin Treatment
